Understand what shapes results and reviews

Last updated: 20 July 2026. Information for the early-access site and requirements to apply when search, ranking, and reviews are enabled.

1. Current status and scope

The public website presents the product and does not, by itself, describe an active transactional ranking. Before ordered professional results are released, information shown near those results must describe the parameters actually used and their relative importance.

This page does not invent weights, formulas, or features that have not yet been definitively configured.

2. Professional identity and role

The marketplace flow must indicate whether the offeror acts as a professional or a non-professional, based on declared information and the checks provided for. Before agreement, the client must know who the contractual counterparty is and how responsibilities are allocated between the platform and the offeror.

3. Ranking factors to disclose

The canonical policy provides that ranking may consider match quality, availability, verification, performance, and the professional’s plan. Only factors actually enabled may be presented as criteria in use.

  • fit between the request, category, area, and declared skills;
  • availability and ability to respond to the request;
  • status of relevant checks;
  • defined and documented performance and reliability indicators;
  • any influence of a plan, only if active and clearly disclosed.

The final description must explain the relative importance of the main factors in plain language without requiring disclosure of algorithms, trade secrets, or anti-fraud controls.

4. Promotions and increased visibility

Any advertisement, purchased priority, boosting, or other increased visibility obtained through payment or a commercial relationship must be identifiable where it affects the result. A feature that is not yet active must not be described as available.

5. Reviews

Reviews must reflect genuine experiences. Before publishing them, the product must explain whether and how it verifies the relationship between reviewer and service, how positive and negative reviews are handled, and whether a review is incentivised, sponsored, or influenced by a commercial relationship.

Reviews must not be presented as verified unless reasonable and proportionate steps have been taken to verify their origin.

6. Corrections and challenges

When ranking or reviews are active, professionals and clients must have a channel to report errors, abuse, or inauthentic content. Decisions must be traceable and coordinated with the applicable terms, moderation, and complaint handling.

7. References and limits of this page

Relevant sources include Regulation (EU) 2019/1150, Directive (EU) 2019/2161 and its Italian implementing rules, as well as applicable obligations under Regulation (EU) 2022/2065. Concrete applicability depends on the service actually offered and requires legal review before launch.
